GCSE tuition

GCSE tuition with a practising secondary-school teacher

I am a qualified MFL teacher with a PGCE and QTS, currently teaching Spanish in a UK secondary school, including Year 11 GCSE classes.

I understand the challenges students face in lessons, revision and exam preparation. My one-to-one tuition gives your child time to ask questions, practise difficult skills and receive individual feedback.

We start by discussing your child’s current level, target grade and areas of difficulty, then plan lessons around their needs.

Lessons can focus on:
  • Speaking confidence, pronunciation and preparing answers
  • Listening and reading strategies
  • Writing, translation and using different tenses accurately
  • Understanding mistakes and improving exam answers
  • Building vocabulary and effective revision habits

GCSE tiers and exam boards: Lessons can support students at both Foundation and Higher tiers, including preparation for AQA and Edexcel GCSE Spanish.

A-level support: Spanish lessons are also available to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills for A-level study.
